#Day 26  #SOL17  Year 1

Sunday Snippets are my way of sharing quick bits, ideas, or words of wisdom gained over my years of life.  Many people share sage advice and this really isn’t that at all.  Just ramblings which may spur thought or a smile.

  • Treat yourself to three to four hours of bliss on the weekends.  It does not have to be expensive or in a remote location and bliss can be time in a library.  Just try to give yourself that amount of time, alone and doing something for yourself.  That may seem like too much time away from the family, children, or your husband, but I have found that providing that time, especially on the weekend, can be a life saver.

    My bliss this weekend was time on my couch with a good book. Completely restorative from the long week.

    There are weekends when one hour of bliss is enough to “power through” the next down cycle. As you said, BALANCE is a key!
